Eddie Austin FIRP
Eddie is the Managing Director of Sugarman Education and member of the Cordant recruitment group senior leadership team.
Eddie has over 30 years experience of the UK recruitment sector, 17 of these years specialising within education.
As a highly capable and intuitive business leader he offers a unique combination of operational, commercial and business growth skills within the recruitment sector. He has developed and implemented large scale education business partnerships and school centred innovative recruitment and retention strategies.
His experience of building and shaping successful recruitment partnerships and thought leader initiatives has earned him an enviable reputation amongst colleagues, clients and competitors alike. His global education experience includes businesses and projects in the Southern Hemisphere, India and the Middle East.

Peter joined the group in January 2015 and for the previous three years worked in educational recruitment as an Education Advisor.
Peter uses his vast experience of education to provide an in depth knowledge of the sector to all stakeholders within the company.
This enables each individual to gain a greater understanding of the issues and working practices in education and to significantly develop a greater and more intrinsic offering into schools and educational institutions, which help facilitate and develop strategic partnerships.
Peter has twenty one years experience of teaching and for eleven years was Headteacher of two primary schools taking them both from “requiring improvement” to “outstanding”. Peter has an in depth knowledge of the processes and systems that transform schools and how these can shape and enable sustainable school improvement and improve educational opportunities for all.
Lynsey joined The Sugarman Group in 2007, opening the Education Division and leading it to become the successful business that it is today.
Sugarman Education is now the leading Education consultancy for Secondary schools in London and the surrounding counties.
Lynsey is a qualified Dance and Drama teacher and before joining the company taught in Secondary schools and ran her own Dance school.
Her first hand knowledge, experience and passion for the sector has been paramount in leading her team in its growth and achievements. Lynsey is a key member of the Education Leadership Team.
Luke joined The Sugarman Group in 2007 and has over 15 years’ experience recruiting Education Teaching Professionals.
Luke is recognised as one of the influencers and shapers of success within the education business, he is a highly knowledgeable professional within the Primary and Special Needs sector and provides extensive expert advice in this field. Luke is a key member of the Education Leadership Team
Regional Development Manager
Hilary is the regional development manager for Sugarman Education and has over 29 years sales and recruitment solutions experience, the last 12 years having been in education recruitment.
Hilary is responsible for the management and development of the regional branch and is a key member of the education leadership team.
Over the years Hilary has been instrumental in managing and developing sales teams, and has proven history of sales and business growth. Alongside her business development skills she has extensive experience of large scale projects and line managing in-house education recruitment teams for various local authorities, delivering supply teachers services to schools.
BA (Hons) CIPD - HR Business Partner
Claire is the HR business partner for the Cordant Group's medical, healthcare and education business areas.
Claire studied English and Education and trained to be an English teacher, which has given her a clear insight into the dedication and commitment required for candidates to train to become qualified teachers.
Claire joined the Cordant Group in January 2012 and has over 9 years of generalist HR experience, 3 of which have been operating at HR Business Partner level. Claire is highly competent at handling Employee Relations issues, organisational change and development, providing expert commercially focused advice and support to the business, along with strategic HR work to develop and drive both the Operations and HR people agenda.
Claire operates as a key member of the Education leadership team to develop the service offering and performance of the business.
